About
John Edward Elliott
John Edward Elliott has been creating stories since before he could even read. His early reading list included Tom Sawyer, The Wizard of Oz, Treasure Island, and Winnie the Pooh, alongside a collection of myths and fairy tales. These books sparked a lifelong love for adventures, journeys, and quests. By the 6th grade, John had taught himself to type and began filling pages with epic tales of fantasy.
John writes because the words flow naturally to him, one after the other as if they already know their perfect order, whether in prose or poetry.
Before Winter Land, John published On the Trail, a hiking guide focused on Northern California’s landscape. Though different in genre, both books share a common message:
See What
Our Readers Have To Say
I stumbled across Winter Land by accident. I’m in my late twenties, working full-time, and fantasy novels aren’t usually my go-to, but something about this book drew me in. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. The world John Elliott creates feels mysterious and a little eerie but in the best way. It’s packed with adventure and magic, which ended up being exactly what I needed.
James Johnson
What I liked most about Winter Land was how easy it was to get into the story. Elliott’s writing isn’t overly complicated, but it still paints a rich picture of the world he’s created. Although Kenny’s journey touches on deeper themes like family and bravery, it never feels heavy or hard to follow. It’s one of those books that sneak up on you, making you think about life while keeping you entertained.
Vivienne Mayfield
The thing that really drew me into this novel was how relatable the story felt, even though it’s set in a totally different world. It’s not just about wizards and magic. It’s about growing up, figuring out who you are, and dealing with things that seem way bigger than you.
